A number of these homes are still owned by original homeowners, and some have been in the same family for decades.
Occasionally one will come on the market that is in pristine condition, with the original pink or mint green tile in the bathrooms and perhaps yellow or mint green tile on the kitchen counters. More common, however, are homes that have seen a lot of wear and tear and need quite a bit of TLC to make them fresh and happy again.
