If your kids are like mine, they like to get DIRTY. Not a little, a LOT. We LOVE Tanglewood Park in Northwest Austin. I love it because I can take my best patio chair (a swivel rocker!) and a stack of cheap magazines and relax and read and still keep an eye on my kids. My kids love it because although they are off exploring the wild parts, they’re still close enough to Mom to keep me from hunting them down and dragging them back where I can see them.
For your viewing pleasure, I took some video. My first with my Flip Ultra HD video camera, purchased at the recommendation of my broker because video is hot hot hot in real estate right now. She’s right. We all want to see more on-line before we peel ourselves away from our computers and get out there for REAL. Of course I was also juggling my camera, and while I was trying to clean the lens of my camera with the soft baggie holding the Flip Video (please, don’t ask why I thought that was a good idea, it seemed reasonable at the time), the video camera flipped onto the concrete and the lens broke, right across the middle. The video was so bad even my kids wouldn’t watch it, and no more is coming until I can get it fixed.
So, take a spin with us around the place via the photos below. At the bottom of this post, you’ll find a few more details, including a map!
